Dogs age at different rate. At age 7, some will act young and frisky, while others will begin to gray and slow down.
Factors affecting aging rate include size, genetics, enviroment and nutrition.
Signs of failing health
Early detection and treatment are key. Bring your dog in for a check up if you notice any of these symptoms:
* Unexplanined weight loss
* Excessive drinking and/or urination
* Loss of appetite or lethargy
* Behavior changes
* Diarrhea or vomitting
* Skin lumps, bumps, or irritation
* Bad breath, plaque on teeth, or bleeding gums
* Ear odors, redness, scratching, or head shaking
* Lameness
