Essex Spaniel Get-Together
The Essex Spaniel Get together is a gundog training club, and was formed to help members train their spaniels to be better shooting companions. The club holds seven training classes per season plus two working tests, one for novice dogs and one for senior dogs. We also have inter-club matches, one which has been going for over 30 years.

London Cocker Spaniel Society
The London Cocker Spaniel Society started life in 1932 as the London Sporting Spaniel Society and in 1946 became the LCSS. The Society at that time was a show society restricted to Cocker Spaniels. In 1960 the Society set up a Field Section and unusually opened up the field events to all breeds of Spaniel. The Society has run over 100 field events under Kennel Club auspices and our 100th event was our very first Field Trial.

Meon Valley Working Spaniel Club
The Meon Valley Working Spaniel Club was recognised by the Kennel Club of Great Britain in April 1985. Our first Novice Any Variety Spaniel Trial was held in the season 1985/86. Granted Open Qualifying Status in the summer of 1990, they usually hold ten Trials per season, two Cocker Trials - Novice and Open an Open ESS and the rest are Any Variety. Still very much promoting the working of all spaniel breeds. Presently there are some 650 members, several from overseas.

Mid-Sussex Working Spaniel Club
The Club exists to encourage the working qualities of all types of spaniels. The complete beginner can learn the basics of training a working dog. Those with some experience can improve their handling skills and get expert help in overcoming problem areas. For the experienced handler there is the opportunity to take part in field trials of the highest standard. All breeds of working spaniels are welcome, from the more common English Springer and Cocker Spaniels through to the Clumber, Field and Sussex Spaniels.

National Organization of Beaters and Pickers Up
A site which allows beaters, pickers up and loaders to link up with gamekeepers across the country through the National Organisation of Beaters and Pickers Up, and encourages the promotion of this wonderful pastime among the younger generation. Shooting, dog training tips, recipes, and countryside stories and articles make this a fine site to visit.

The South Eastern Gundog Society
The South Eastern Gundog Society (SEGS) was formed in 1952 by a group of gundog enthusiasts who had identified the need for such a Society in the South East of England. Their aim, which remains constant today, was to develop and improve the standard of gundog training and handling.

Union of Countrywide Sports Workers
The UCSW was set up in 1997 as an independent organisation to fight robustly for our members rights and against any threat to their jobs and homes. It became an independent listed trade union on 17th September 1999. The UCSW is run almost entirely on a voluntary basis. The majority of committee members have full time jobs and yet find time to do a tremendous amount for the Union to try and safeguard the future of it's members.

Utility Gundog Society
The Utility Gundog Society was founded in 1923 for the gentry and their employees to compete together on a friendly basis with any type of gundog. That ethos of 'friendly' competition has been maintained through to the current day.

The Weimaraners Association
The Association aims to encourage, promote and protect the breeding of the Weimaraner to meet the breed standard and to fulfill its role as a hunting, pointing and retrieving gundog. Our members are kept in touch with events, current views and opinions, and what the other HPR clubs are doing, through a quarterly newsletter which is full of information - it's also a good read!

Beresford English Springer Spaniels
David and Trudy Topliss live in the East Riding of Yorkshire with their Beresford English Springer Spaniels. Some lucky Beresford's have emigrated to places as far a field as New Zealand, Canada and Sweden.

All our dogs come from strong hunting and field trial lines and all have parents that are hard-charging biddable field dogs, yet gentle calm affectionate family companions.

Breezeleaf Working Spaniels
At Breezeleaf Kennels in Kent, professional trainer Chris Burns provides a wide range of training courses for working gundogs, as well as dogs and puppies for sale. The site is very informative and includes sections on grooming, training, illness and ailments, beating and picking up, and lots of downloads.

Breezybrook Gundogs is a small kennel run by Jacquie Ward & Jim Munday in North Bedfordshire, specialising in working cocker spaniels. At Breezybrook, dogs are required to work very hard as they are picking up or beating 3-4 days each week during the shooting season.

Camelwood Labradors
Gary Jago and Camelwood Labradors are based in Padstow, Cornwall and have been keeping and breeding quality Labradors for many years. A lot of time and effort has been put into producing working Labradors to the highest standards. Gary says that he would like to think that he has acquired, and bred, Labradors which have excellent temperaments and have an exceptional talent for working in the shooting field.

Canouan English Springer Spaniels
Canouan are Kevan and Julia Grant who have a small kennel of English Springer Spaniels. Located on the edge of the New Forest on the Hampshire and Dorset border in the South of England, their aim is to produce English Springer Spaniels of show quality with the ability to do what they were originally bred for, work in the shooting field.

Capriole Spaniels
Capriole Field Spaniels is owned by D.Kay Klein and located in North Liberty, Iowa. Capriole is dedicated to promoting the health of all field spaniels, and participates, through the University of Missouri, in OFA/CHIC - DNA Blood Bank-Sample Form for Field Spaniels and Canine Epilepsy Study to promote health in the breed for generations.

Cedarose
Members of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme, Michelle & David Lloyd run Cedarose Spaniels in Suffolk where they work and breed English Springer Spaniels and Cocker Spaniels. Although they are not commerical breeders, they have 1-2 litters of sound and healthy puppies a year, all with great temperments.

Drummuir Spaniels - Breeding for Style, Conformation, Drive
Druimmuir Spaniels is a small kennel run by Nicola Hannan and Gary Anderson and they are based in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland. Joe-Mar Cockers
Vicky Martin lives on a five acre farm just outside Dayton, Ohio that was purchased especially for her cocker babies. She has been a member of her local humane society where she participated in the Pet Therapy program with my cockers. She has also shown her dogs in AKC sanctioned dog events as well as handled various breeds of dogs (german shepherd and fox terrier) for other kennels. She has also been a ring steward for the American Kennel Club.

Justamuc Gundog Training Center

Kirkham Gundogs

Macgiriaght is the registered UK Kennel Club Affix of Frank Geraghty who has been involved in shooting and field sports for over two decades. He lived in Canada until the age of 18, when he moved to Scotland . He now lives near Harwich in north Essex. Windrift Springer Spaniels
Windrift Kennel is a small kennel of personal gundogs, located in northwest Pennsylvania about 40 miles south of Erie, that are hunted extensively on grouse, woodcock, rabbit and pheasant. The goal of Windrift is to breed working gundogs that are a joy to spend a day afield with. A good working spaniel should have a strong desire to hunt, a good nose and gentle mouth and be a natural retriever. I import my dogs from the U.K. and Ireland. They are selected from the top working/trial bloodlines that I have observed during my visits to those Countries.

Windward Field Spaniels
Windward Field Spaniels is located in Northwest Ohio and owned by Mike and Joanne Roehrs. Puppies are bred with attention to conformation, health and temperment. All pups are raised in their home and exposed extensive early socialization.

Woodview is a small family run kennels situated in the Southern part of the Netherlands, in a small village called Loon op Zand. Our goal at Woodview is to breed quality hunting spaniels for use in the ordinary shooting field and for running in trials. All our dogs are bred from the best English, Irish and continental field trial bloodlines that are about today.

Woodwyn Cocker Spaniels
It is our belief that as breeders of English Cocker Spaniels it is our responsibility to do our very best in producing the truest specimens of this breed that we possibly can. We do not breed with the sole intent of satisfying the requirements of one particular interest or another but to the total dog.
As the English Cocker Spaniel was/is intended to be an upland rough shooting dog, we strive to produce dogs that are suitable for that task in both mind and body. Our own dogs are used for hunting pheasant, grouse, woodcock, and rabbits. Our season begins with pheasant in October and ends with the end of rabbit season the last week of February.

Working Spaniel Kennel
Located in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the Working Spaniel Kennel imports, trains, and breeds Springer Spaniels from the United Kingdom to be used as family gundogs. They have chosen to work with UK imports because the combination of working ability and temperament in these dogs is second to none.
